Role ResponsibilitiesAs a Client Manager, you’ll oversee a diverse portfolio of clients, ensuring exceptional service and effective financial management. Key responsibilities include:
- Acting as the primary point of contact for a portfolio of clients, maintaining strong relationships and trust
- Overseeing accounts preparation, VAT returns, and management accounts for a range of industries
- Reviewing the work of junior team members, providing constructive feedback and mentorship
- Identifying opportunities for additional advisory services to support client growth and success
- Ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations
- Managing client queries efficiently and liaising with HMRC when required
- Supporting the Partners with business development initiatives and strategic planning

Candidate RequirementsWe’re looking for a Client Manager with:
- ACA, ACCA, or equivalent qualification
- At least three years of experience managing a portfolio of clients within a practice environment
- Strong technical skills in accounting and tax compliance
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proven ability to lead and develop a team
- A proactive and solutions-focused approach to client challenges
- Experience with accounting software, such as Xero and QuickBooks, is desirable
- £50,000 to £70,000 per annum
- Full time, permanent role
