Job Title: PCB Reworker

Location: Wokingham

Rate: £15-16 per hour PAYE - £19-21 per hour LTD/umbrella - EXEMPT FROM IR35

Due to a period of growth we are looking for an experienced PCB Reworker to join our client for a 3-6 month contract.

 

As a PCB Reworker your duties will include:

 

  1. Visual Inspection: Visually inspect PCBs (printed circuit boards) to ensure they meet quality standards. This involves checking solder joints, components, and overall workmanship.
  2. Quality Standards: Ensure that products adhere to the IPC-A-610 standard, which defines acceptability criteria for electronic assemblies. This includes classifying defects based on severity (e.g., class 1, 2, or 3).
  3. Documentation: Read and interpret quality policies, procedures, drawings, and other relevant documentation. This helps maintain consistency and compliance during inspections.
  4. Receiving Inspection: When materials arrive in the warehouse, inspect them for quality. This includes dimensional checks, surface finish assessment, and verifying assembly quality.
  5. Final Inspection: Before products are shipped, perform a final inspection. This ensures that the assembled PCBs meet all quality requirements.
  6. Rework: Rework PCBAs to the highest standards. Components down to 0201

 

The successfully PCB Reworker will ideally have the below experience:

 

  • Must be previously certified to J and IPC standard
  • A history of PCB assembly
  • A history of PCB inspection
  • A knowledge of all common electronic assembly standards
  • Good component knowledge
  • A knowledge of AOI
