Technical Loft Insulation Installer

Are you an experienced insulation installer with great attention to detail? Or do you have a construction background and want to train and grow within this trade? If so, this could the perfect role for you!

Our client is currently experiencing a significant level of growth and is seeking a Technical Loft Insulation Installer to join their busy and dedicated team. The purpose of the role is to provide a customer focused installation service ensuring that all technical specifications are adhered to and all relevant safety checks and safety precautions are carried out in line with company, BBA procedures and best practice.

The basic salary for this role is £23,795 with weekly commission based on hitting your Sqm targets. The overall salary is circa £40,000 OTE. You will be expected to be at the yard in Wokingham to load your van by around 7:30am and you will finish by 5pm, but earlier if you have completed your job/targets for the day! Saturday working is possible with a flat rate and a points system where the more sqm laid the more money earnt!

You will need to be a driver for this role and would cover an area of around 90 mins from Wokingham.

Please note a CSCS card and Driving Licence are ESSENTIAL!

Main responsibilities for the Technical Loft Insulation Installer are:

• To consistently achieve the firms core competencies in relation to customer focus, communication, health & safety, quality, teamwork & organisation.
• Install all confirmed booked work as per Job cards.
• Communicate with Production Manager If job cards cannot be adhered to.
• Carry out pre and post work inspections and take any necessary action to resolve any highlighted Issues.
• Effectively communicate with the customer before, during and after installation making sure they are aware of the install process and ensuring they are happy with the Job on completion to ensure
• Ensure all work is installed In a safe manner and to a high standard by following best practice procedures.
• Check all machinery settings are as per technical and system designer specifications to ensure correct installation processes.
• Undertake any other reasonable task as required by the company.

Skills required for Technical Loft Insulation Installer are:

• CSCS Card ESSENTIAL
• Driving Licence
• Able to deliver exceptional customer service to internal and external customers
• Must have the drive to ensure that H&S and quality standards are maintained and where possible improved, through strict adherence to internal and external policies, procedures and standards
• Have the ability to plan and organise on site work.
• Must be motivated to learn and continually develop expertise.
• You will be able to demonstrate commitment and drive whilst having flexibility.
• Previous experience of working in the insulation industry is advantageous however construction experience in extensions and lofts would be considered.
• NVQ Level 2 or Blue skills card is advantageous
