Role: Telecom Network Architect

Location: Wokingham – 2 days a week

Duration: 6 Months

We are seeking an experienced Telecom Network Architect (IP Networks) to design, implement, and manage high-level network solutions. This role requires deep expertise in IP network architecture, design, and security, ensuring robust, scalable, and secure infrastructures.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop IP network solutions aligned with strategic goals.
• Create detailed network documentation, including technical specifications.
• Oversee implementation and integration, ensuring seamless system compatibility.
• Ensure compliance with security standards, including SC clearance.
• Perform security assessments and audits to mitigate risks.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of designs and configurations.
• Provide stakeholder updates on project status and network performance.

Essential Skills & Experience:

• Proven expertise in IP network design and management.
• Proficiency with network design tools and technologies (e.g., Cisco, Juniper).
• Strong knowledge of network security principles and best practices.
• SC (Security Check) clearance is mandatory.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Desirable Skills:

• Experience with cloud networking solutions (e.g., Azure).
• Industry certifications (e.g., CCNP, JNCIP).
