Quality Assurance and Improvement Specialist (6-Month Fixed Term Contract) Nursing Home Wokingham £65,000 FTE

The Quality, Governance and Risk team provides internal services, with a core focus on compliance, continuous improvement and learning, to maintain compliance and offer assurance, direction and guidance to the broader teams and functions across Optalis Services.

The Governance and Risk team covers the following areas:

  • Data Protection
  • Governance and Quality Assurance
  • Health and Safety
  • Information Governance
  • Management of Information; and
  • Regulatory Compliance

Primary Purpose of Role

This role will be critical to ensuring regulatory compliance within our nursing home provision and enhancing the quality of services provided. This position is a six-month fixed-term contract focused on analysing, assessing, developing, and implementing quality improvement strategies to meet regulatory standards and drive service excellence. This role involves close collaboration with operational, governance, and wider Optalis teams, to assess current practices, identify areas for improvement, and create effective solutions that embed quality and regulatory compliance.

A working knowledge of Care Quality Commission requirements, Key Lines of Enquiries and proven experience of quality improvement are required for this role.
