We are expanding our team and seeking a skilled Commercial Paralegal to assist with legal operations within our vibrant and progressive company. Day-to-day of the role:- Assist with the drafting of Business Agreements, Terms of Business, and Non-Disclosure Agreements.
- Review and amend contractual documentation to ensure compliance and accuracy.
- Support the business in managing legal and external supplier relationships, including managing engagement agreements.
- Handle legal administration tasks such as record keeping and proofreading documents for accuracy.
- Monitor compliance with legislative and regulatory requirements, providing advice and guidance on upcoming changes.
- Maintain and support a contract template library.
- Support key opportunities to help identify and support contracting strategies to mitigate risk, ensuring a smooth and efficient contract process with customers.
- 3-5 years’ experience as a Commercial Paralegal, with a strong focus on commercial contracts.
- Professional and precise communication skills, capable of translating legal requirements into layman's terms for management.
- Intermediate proficiency in MS Office suite.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively without supervision and meet deadlines.
- High level of precision and accuracy with a pragmatic approach.
- Common sense and the ability to use one’s own initiative are crucial.
