Job Description:
PSR Solutions is seeking a reliable and dedicated. The operator is responsible for driving the cherry picker to the job site, setting it up, and positioning it correctly to allow workers to access the required area safely. They must also operate the cherry picker in a safe and controlled manner, following all relevant safety regulations and procedures.
A scissor lift operator's main responsibility is to ensure the safe and efficient use of the lift. This includes:- Regular inspections: Before using a scissor lift, it should be inspected for damage, wear, or malfunctions
- Training: Scissor lift operators must be trained to control the risks of working at heights
- Fall prevention: Operators should wear a safety harness and maintain three points of contact on the platform
- Planning: Work at height should be properly planned and organized in advance
- Communication: A banksman or responsible person at ground level can give directions
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a similar role is preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- CPCS / IPAF / CSCS
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations.
