The Business:

Our Client are a global market leading manufacturing business with a healthy and growing UK turnover resulting in fantastic job security for the right Maintenance Engineer. With a growing order book, this business have invested heavily into their site and people, with multiple CAPEX projects currently underway and training programmes for their Engineers, this is a great time to join the business as you will be working on state of the art, highly automated equipment and also receive training to be an expert on the kit!

The Role:

The role of Maintenance Engineer will include the following responsibilities:

  • Completing reactive and planned maintenance on all of the production machinery on site
  • Working Electrically solving problems on: Three Phase Motors, Relays, Contactors, Servo Drives, Sensors, Power Supplies, Breakers
  • Mechanically maintaining: Pneumatic and Hydraulic systems, Bearings, Rollers, Gearboxes, Shafts, Belts, Pulleys, Chains, Pulleys
  • Driving a culture of Planned Maintenance and Improvements, encouraging other Engineers to come up with ideas for potential efficiency gains or waste reduction
  • Working on PLCs, they do have access to code so if you have the ability to Fault Find reading through code you will be able to use that skillset here!

The Candidate:

The right candidate for the role of Maintenance Engineer will be/have:

  • A Recognised Engineering qualification – Electrical qualification is desirable
  • Experience working as a Maintenance Engineer working on Machinery
  • Confident Fault Finding Electrically and Mechanically
  • Be able to work well within a team
  • Strong Communication skills as you will be talking to production during your shift
