Production Engineer Duties

Create CAD/CAM programs using Hypermill software
Run first offs on 3,4 and 5 axis CNC Milling machines before passing to operators to complete batchwork
Self inspection of first offs as required
Helping assist with production planning schedule for the shop floor
Work with the management team to make business critical decisions

Production Engineer Profile

Proven experience programming 3,4,5 axis CNC milling machines using CAD/CAM software. Our client uses Hypermill but proven experience with any package will be considered.
Experience working within precision engineering industries (Automotive, Motorsport, Aerospace etc)
Able to set and operate 3,4,5 axis CNC milling machines as required (Mazak ideally but any machinery is considered)
Experience of leading a small team of CNC Machinists
Keen attitude and looking to progress quickly.
