Assistant Project Manager Job in Wokingham, Berkshire

Assistant Project Manager job in Wokingham, Berkshire with an international and leading multidisciplinary consultancy. This role has become available as the team looks to expand their Wokingham office with an Assistant Project Manager who will aid in the successful delivery of mainly education and laboratory/science projects in the Thames Valley region and down to the South Coast. Salary of 30,000 - 40,000 + 28 Days Holiday + BH + Hybrid Working (1 day per week in the office).

This consultancy has global coverage, providing a range of services from cost management, project and programme management, specialist consultancy, and digital solutions. They're 100% employee-owned within the UK and offer an extensive list of benefits plus career development opportunities. The successful candidate will be joining an immediate team of around 10 and will work closely with project leaders and employers' agents for a range of projects.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Assist with the preparation of cost budgets, appraisals and reviews
  • Support in providing advice to clients on development plans
  • Assist with procurement strategy
  • Support with contract administration
  • Work closely with the wider team for project and programme review.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Willingness to progress your career as a Project Manager or Employers Agent
  • RICS Accredited Degree in Building Surveying, Quantity Surveying, or similar
  • On APC pathway or looking to commence
  • Some experience within an Employers Agent / Project Manager role could be advantageous, but graduate-level candidates will also be considered.
