Your Day-to-Day ResponsibilitiesAs a Marquee Erector/Foreman, you will:

  • Erect and dismantle marquees as part of a team, involving manual handling.
  • Load and unload vehicles efficiently.
  • Pick and prepare equipment at the warehouse.
  • Deliver top-quality results, ensuring all work meets high standards.
  • Present yourself professionally to clients and deliver exceptional service.
  • Work efficiently to meet deadlines.
  • Adhere to health and safety guidelines to ensure the well-being of everyone on-site.

What We’re Looking ForEssential Qualities:

  • Reliability and excellent timekeeping.
  • Hardworking with a positive, can-do attitude.
  • A full UK driving licence.
  • Team player who thrives under pressure.

Desirable Qualities:

  • Experience in labouring, scaffolding, or construction.
  • Counterbalance forklift or telehandler forklift training.
  • First Aid certification.
  • Practical skills such as carpentry or experience using power tools.
  • MUTA Structure Safe training.

For the right candidate, additional training (e.g., forklift, first aid, etc.) will be provided after successfully passing a probationary period.

Working Hours

  • 50 hours per week, based on a 5-out-of-7-day schedule, including weekends and bank holidays.
  • Normal hours are 7:00 AM - 6:00 PM (with breaks totalling one hour), though start times as early as 6:00 AM may be required.
  • Flexibility is essential during peak periods, where longer hours and extra days may be necessary to meet business demands.
