The almshouse movement has been supporting residents in need for over 1,000 years. The Almshouse Association was established to support our member charities and raise the profile of the almshouse movement.
There is today a sense of renaissance in the almshouse world but its future cannot be taken for granted. Government policy changes and almshouses straddle the world and affordable community housing. Without a keen eye on local and national policy the movement could be negatively affected. This post is vital to the long-term protection of the housing model.
We have a fantastic opportunity available to work with a national membership charity supporting and protecting this ancient affordable housing model. We are a small, supportive and dedicated team.
