Technical Lead
Wokingham (3 days a week)
Up to £53,000
An established and successful international sports clothing and sports equipment brand are looking for a hands-on Technical Lead to join them to contribute towards day-to-day business IT system changes and provide guidance and support as a mentor figure to a small IT team, as the right-hand person to the IT Manager.
Requirements for the Technical Lead position include experience with the following:
- Windows server 2012 2022 and desktop operating systems support and installation.
- VMWare vCenter & ESXi support / management.
- Microsoft Azure Hybrid Environment / Intune and Endpoint / Microsoft 365 administration.
- Nutanix servers and hardware support and maintenance
- Monitoring and capacity planning of servers.
- Understanding of Cyber Security concepts, tools (Cybereason, XDR), policies and procedures.
- Data storage (Hyperconverged & SAN)
- Backup and Recovery procedures (Veeam and Druva).
- PowerShell scripting.
- SCCM administration.
- VPN, Firewalls, network routers knowledge.
- Network Topology and Troubleshooting.
- ADFS, AD Group policies and DNS.
- Work well with users and within a team and able to manage 3rd party suppliers.
- Security patching.
- Anti-Virus.
In addition, any experience with or interest in learning cyber security concepts, tools (Cybereason, XDR), policies and procedures would be greatly beneficial.
This Technical Lead role is a permanent, full time position offering a salary of £50,000-£53,000 with a package including hybrid working (3 days a week required onsite in the Wokingham office), leisure subsidy and retail discount, and 25 days holiday + bank holidays.
