Working 2 days - Thursday and Friday (non negotiable) from 9-5.30pm

Our prestigious client is seeking an enthusiastic and engaging individual to join their busy Facilities team as a Receptionist. You will be front of house, meeting and greeting clients and visitors. You will take pride in delivering a seamless and professional service. This is a job share and ideally you may be flexible to cover holidays for your job share partner.

Your role:

  • Contributing to the smooth operation of reception, telephone and facilities office services, in support of fee earners and administrative staff.
  • Dealing with and directing telephone calls and client enquiries in an efficient and effective manner, based on a clear understanding of our firm and the legal services we provide.
  • Provision of cover for other Reception/Facilities Office staff, especially during lunchtimes and holiday periods.
  • Perform other Reception or Facilities Office related duties as requested from time to time.

The person:

  • Have experience of working as a receptionist or in similar role, but applicants with relevant backgrounds from sectors including hospitality are also encouraged.
  • Have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient knowledge of operating a switchboard and MS Outlook (or similar) and working in a professional environment are preferred.
  • Be a good team player, with a willingness to offer support to others in the team.
  • Be enthusiastic, flexible and efficient, with a helpful and friendly manner when dealing with clients and colleagues.
