Enthusiastic Physics Graduate required for Sales Team for a global Photonics business.
Purpose of the role is to maintain and grow business opportunities by working with the Sales Manager and Field Sales team. Manage the order book and logistics interface.
Key Responsibilities:
- Quotations:
- Qualify requests, determine resale price and lead time.
- Enter quotations onto the system and ensure compliance with regulations.
- Convert quotations to orders.
- Manage Customer Orders:
- Ensure clear understanding of terms with customers.
- Accurately process orders and ensure compliance.
- Manage and update open orders, ensuring timely delivery.
- Handle post-sale issues like queries and complaints.
- Customer Relationship Management:
- Develop and maintain strong client relationships.
- Work with Field Sales to meet/exceed customer KPIs.
- Promote sister companies and exclusive suppliers.
Requirements:
- Degree in Physics or related field.
- Knowledge of photonics and target markets ( nice to have )
- Experience in B2B sales.
- Commercial awareness and negotiation skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office
- Excellent communication skills.
- Attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Team player.
