Meridian Leisure Hotels, a multiple franchisee of InterContinental Hotels Group,are seeking a dynamic ASSISTANT RESTAURANT MANAGER tobe instrumental in running our Caprice fine dining restaurant in our exceptional 4 Silver star Crowne Plaza Reading East (M4 Jct 10) RG41 5TS

Located adjacent to the Winnersh Triangle station and within very close proximity of Reading/Bracknell and Wokingham, this exceptional new Crowne Plaza hotelconsists of174 bedroomswith an events centre with 8 conference suites for up to 180 in the largest suite, substantial Esprit Wellness & Spa & 2AA rosette awarded Caprice fine dining restaurant with terrace for outdoor dining.

We are looking for a talented Assistant Restaurant Manager who is capable of bringing their own skills to the hotel and who is able to assist in training and developing theteam and ensuring compliance to systems and standards.

The position is entirely hands on.

Ideal candidates should possess the following attributes :-

* Be confident in serving 100+ covers per day with additional banqueting as events occur.
* Work at consistently high standards
* Be well presented and have excellent communication skills
* Be able to manage and teach the food & beverage team

To be considered for this position it is essential you have a proven and stable background as a Restaurant Supervisor or Assistant Restaurant Manager in a branded hotel environment or busy restaurant with rosettes.

Previous experience in Micros point of sale will be considered an advantage

You should have an outgoing personality and strong attention to detail

You will be responsible for ensuring Intercontinental Hotels Group brand standards are adhered to at all times

Positive references are essential
