Day-to-day of the role:- Develop and deliver engaging art lessons that encourage creativity and self-expression.
- Utilize various artistic techniques and media to enhance student learning experiences.
- Organize and maintain a dynamic classroom environment conducive to learning and creativity.
- Assess student work and progress, providing constructive feedback to support artistic development.
- Collaborate with other teachers to integrate art into other curricular areas.
- Plan and coordinate art displays and exhibitions within the school and the wider community.
- Stay updated with current art trends and educational methodologies to continually enhance the curriculum.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Degree in Art or a related field.
- Proven experience teaching art in a secondary school setting.
- Strong understanding of art history and various art forms.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
