About the Role: They are looking for a passionate and dedicated Geography Teacher to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality geography education, inspiring students, and contributing to the overall success of the department.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging and effective geography lessons in line with the curriculum.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback.
- Support students in achieving their academic goals.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and share best practices.
- Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to curriculum development.
- Maintain a safe and inclusive classroom environment.
Qualifications and Experience:
- A degree in Geography or a related field.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Experience teaching geography at the secondary level.
- Strong subject knowledge and a passion for teaching.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to inspire and motivate students.
