We are seeking a passionate Science Tutor to join our educational team, focusing on students who are school refusers or those struggling academically. This part-time position is ideal for an empathetic and innovative educator who is dedicated to making a positive impact on students' learning experiences.
Day-to-day of the role:- Design and deliver engaging science lessons tailored to the needs of each student, particularly those who find traditional learning environments challenging.
- Assess students' individual learning needs and adapt teaching methods to maximize understanding and retention.
- Create a supportive and encouraging learning environment to help students build confidence in their scientific abilities.
- Collaborate with other educational professionals to ensure a cohesive approach to student education and welfare.
- Regularly monitor and evaluate students' progress, providing feedback and strategies for improvement.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
- Proven experience in teaching or tutoring Science, with a focus on engaging students facing academic challenges.
- Strong understanding of different scientific disciplines and the ability to convey complex concepts in an accessible manner.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire students.
- Commitment to professional development and staying updated with the latest educational strategies and tools.
