  • Review and benchmark existing commissioned services, where appropriate negotiate fee reduction
  • Respond positively and professionally to referrals by Social Workers, ensuring the quality of information enables the identification of placements
  • Attend and contribute to Social Care Forums and cost panels
  • Lead fee negotiation for new services
  • Support Children’s services teams with placements
  • Enhance outcomes for children in care and those transitioned out of care by effectively coordinating and identifying quality placements
Requirements:
  • Experience of working in Children’s Social Care or equivalent
  • Previous Children’s brokerage experience
  • Experience of working in a fast pace environment
  • Experience of working in a complex multi-agency environment
  • Have due regard to health and safety in relation to self and children in care whilst identifying potential placements
