Teqniq is searching for a Placement Officer to work in the public sector.

37 hours per week.

3 months contract.

Job Description:

  • Experience of working in Children’s Social Care or equivalent.
  • We are looking for someone with prior children’s brokerage experience.
  • Experience of working in a fast-paced environment. Ability to work under pressure and be extremely well organised, taking a pro-active approach to your workload.
  • Experience of working in a complex multi-agency environment including working with health, voluntary and community sector and the independent sector.
  • Able to respond positively and professionally to referrals by Social Workers, ensuring the quality of information enables the identification of placements that meet the child’s or young person’s assessed needs.
  • Have due regard to health and safety in relation to self and children in care, whilst identifying potential placements.
