Hawkfield Recruitment is seeking a qualified vehicle technician to join our client in the Wokingham area. This business was established nearly 20 years ago and has grown to more than 20 dealerships across South England.

We are looking for a technician with at least two years of workshop experience in either an independent workshop or a dealer environment. Ongoing training will be provided by this business and a route to Master Technician is available.

Responsibilities of Vehicle Technician:

The below duties will depend on your experience and skill level:

  • Carry out services, repairs, and maintenance on customers vehicles, including any additional repair work
  • Carry out mechanical and electrical repair work
  • Use diagnostic equipment to accurately identify and rectify any issues
  • Work in line with health and safety, maintaining a clean and safe workspace
  • Carry out vehicle inspections

Skills and experience we are looking for:

  • Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair / or equivalent (Level 2 qualified technicians with the required experience will also be considered)
  • Ideally, you will hold an EV/Hybrid Qualification - but training will be offered in this area
  • At least 2 years workshop experience (independent or main dealer)
  • A Full UK Driving Licence
