About the Role

Location: At the learner’s home (with a parent present)

Hours: 15 hours per week in the afternoon

Commitment: 39 weeks

Goal: We are looking for a Coding and Gaming tutor/Mentor that can encourage his love for computers and tutor them in coding. They are only Year 5 and will be at a beginner level. The hopes is to build their confidence to later engage in core subject academics.

Who We’re Looking For

  • Either: A qualified teacher (QTS essential) with experience supporting SEN, EBSA, or PDA learners
  • OR: An experienced HLTA / ELSA / TA with strong SEN experience
  • Someone who can create a calm, engaging, and trust-building learning space
  • A strong communicator who understands the importance of flexibility and child-led learning
  • A tutor who brings enthusiasm, patience, and creativity into every session
  • Fully vetted with DBS on the update service, references, and right to work in the UK
