A highly reputable business established for over 50 years, is looking for a Warehouse Operative to join the friendly team. The company pride themselves on fantastic employee retention rates and offer an excellent working environment and career development for their staff.

This is a permanent role. Based at the main warehouse in Woodley. Monday to Friday 8.00am to 4.30pm / 9.00am to 5.30pm, parking on site. Starting salary up to £27,000 (regular salary appraisals), plus benefits and opportunities to advance your career.

Previous Warehouse experience is not a must, the role would suit an individual who is looking for a long term career and has a strong work ethic.

Key Responsibilities

  • Receiving / despatching goods
  • Preparing items for collection, there is a physical element to this part of the job (lifting boxes)
  • Driving fork lifts, no licence required, training to be given to gain a licence
  • Recycling materials
  • Learning some of the office processes

Key Requirements

  • Be looking for a long-term role in which you can grow and develop
  • Comfortable working in small close-knit team
  • Strong work ethic and reliable
  • Interested in developing skills and taking on more responsibilities
  • Good communication skills and IT competency
