Logistics Co-ordinator

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Logistic Co-ordinator for an expanding company based in Wokingham. The Logistic Co-ordinator role will be tasked with ensuring efficient timely import and export shipping by acting as the logistical link between project operations and the preferred clearing and forwarding agent.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan and coordinate freight deliveries and pick-ups.

Track shipments and update the status of goods to relevant parties.

Ensure timely and efficient transportation of goods.

Prepare and manage documentation such as invoices & custom entries

Ensure all paperwork is accurate and complies with regulations.

Ensure all documentation is retained and stored in anticipation of Audit Checks on a monthly basis.

You will be required to answer audit or HRMC queries based on documentation produced/managed

Communicate with internal and external clients, shipping agents, and freight carriers.

Resolve any freight delivery issues such as delays

Coordinate with warehouse staff to ensure proper storage and handling of goods.

Ensure compliance with shipping regulations and handle any customs-related issues.

Manage hazardous cargo requirements

Provide excellent customer service by addressing internal and external client inquiries and concerns.

Develop strategies to improve service levels and operational efficiency in coordination with Business Line objectives

Skills:

This role requires strong communication skills written and verbal, be able to prioritize multiple tasks. Problem solver with meticulous attention to detail in handling documentation and tracking shipments.
