REED Practice are working with a dynamic and forward-thinking accountancy practice based in Wolverhampton who are looking for an experienced Accounts Senior. The firm is known for delivering exceptional service to a diverse client base.

Job Title: Accounts Senior

Location: Wolverhampton

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare financial statements for various entities.
  • Manage a client portfolio, ensuring deadlines are met.
  • Review and finalise accounts prepared by junior staff.
  • Provide tax planning and advisory services.
  • Assist in training and developing junior team members.
  • Liaise with clients and HMRC to resolve queries.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

Requirements:

  • ACA/ACCA qualified or equivalent. 
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar role within an accountancy practice.
  • Strong technical knowledge of accounting and tax principles.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Sage, QuickBooks, Xero).
