This is where your career in estimating can flourish and grow.Your new roleAs an Estimator, you will be at the forefront of project planning and budgeting. You will be responsible for analysing project requirements and providing accurate cost estimates for materials, labour, and other expenses. Your expertise in shopfitting and interior fit-out projects will be essential in ensuring that projects are delivered on time and within budget. Initially, you will be the only Estimator on site, but they have plans to recruit 2 others within the next year.

Key Responsibilities

• Conducting detailed analysis of project specifications and requirements
• Preparing comprehensive cost estimates and budgets
• Collaborating with project managers, designers, and contractors to ensure accurate and efficient project planning
• Monitoring project costs and ensuring adherence to budget constraints
• Providing valuable insights and recommendations to improve cost efficiency and project outcomes

What you'll need to succeed

• Proven experience as an estimator in the shopfitting and interior fit-out industry.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to accurately assess project requirements and provide precise cost estimates.
• Meticulous attention to detail to ensure all aspects of project specifications and costs are considered.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with project managers, designers, and contractors.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines efficiently, ensuring timely and accurate estimates.
• Proficiency in estimation software and tools, as well as a solid understanding of construction methods and materials.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing project requirements and work in a dynamic environment.
