Senior Financial Accountant

I am currently recruiting for a well-known aerospace company based in Wolverhampton. Due to expansion within the team, my client requires an ambitious Qualified Accountant to come on board, working directly underneath the Financial reporting manager. The role has a clear succession plan to step up in the next 18 months managing a small team of 3.

My client is looking for an intelligent, well-rounded individual to work within a fast paced team as a Senior Financial Accountant

If you have prior experience within a manufacturing or aerospace company that would be advantageous however candidates with a strong academic background and a minimum of four year's accountancy experience will still be considered

Ideally you will;

• ACA/ACCA or CIMA qualified Accountant with relevant financial accounting experience
• Be able to work within a fast paced environment and be driven to hit essential deadlines and targets
• Be able to produce variance analysis to compare budgets vs actuals for previous years highlighting key areas of improvement with running commentary
• Work alongside the Financial Controller to support the production of the management accounts that need to be produced in a timely manner, and be visible across the manufacturing plant
