An Office Administrator is required in a brand-new position to join a steel manufacturing facility based near Wolverhampton. The company has been operating for over 50 years and has several facilities across the black country. Over the years the business has been holding steady, but in the last few years, turnover has doubled, generating the need for some key hires to make improvements and bring the company into the 21st century with new systems, processes, and modern ways of working.

Working in the Drawing Office, you will be working alongside CAD Designers to manage the administration duties within the team. As the Office Administrator you will be -

  • Implementing new processes to monitor the workflow
  • Acknowledge receipt of work into the team and prioritise and issue tasks to the team
  • Respond to design queries, track statuses and progress of works to ensure everything is completed within timescales
  • Being a point of contact between designers and customers
  • Preparing reports on workload & forecasts to present to senior management

Ideally for this Office Administrator role you will have -

  • Strong levels of organisation and administrative skills
  • Excellent IT skills and prior experience implementing or streamlining processes
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to build strong relationships across the business
  • An understanding of technical or engineering drawings would be beneficial

On offer for this Office Administrator role -

  • An office-based role
  • Monday - Friday 37.5 hours per week (some flexibility on these)

You will be based on-site Monday - Friday, so you will be required to commute to their offices based outside of Wolverhampton.
