You will deliver commissioning activities effectively and cost-efficiently in accordance with contract specifications, quality standards and functional safety requirements for bespoke machinery. The ability to write FDS from scratch is essential as is a hunger to deliver high tech machinery to client specifications.
Commissioning Engineer - The Role:
路 Creation of project-commissioning strategy, reviews and ensures its implementation.
路 Provide support to tendering, assisting in the creation of proposal estimation of hours, bought out equipment, test equipment, bespoke tools etc.
路 Supporting Project Managers in issuing claims for scope of work changes, cost impact, time impact, risk quantifications etc.
路 Ensure adherence to safety standards in the area of responsibility and mitigation of potential risks.
路 Interpretation of Functional and Safety Functional Requirements
路 Compile Test, Installation and Commissioning Quality Plan
路 Preparation of test reports
路 Implementation of UK and European H&S legislation and appropriate standards
路 Adherence to all relevant company policies and procedures
路 Liaison with Engineering Design, Procurement and Manufacturing personnel to ensure process optimisation
Commissioning Engineer - The Person:
路 HNC Qualified or equivalent
路 NVQ Level 3
路 Ideally conversant with British and European Technical Legislative standards
路 Essential conscientious approach with attention to detail within a challenging role
Role commutable from Wolverhampton, Birmingham, Telford, Dudley & Walsall
