This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the safety and quality of services within the Taxi Licensing sector.

Location: Hybrid Structure ( Travel to other cities required as per business needs)

Working Pattern: Full Time

Pay rate : £ 18.26 per hour

Service area : Taxi Licensing

Important: The working week of individual employees may be arranged over a 7 day period, including weekends, The standard working week shall remain at 37 hours where hours worked are not in excess of 37 hours.

What You'll Do:

As a Licensing Investigator, you will be at the forefront of ensuring compliance with licensing regulations. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting in the efficient discharge of duties assigned by the Licensing Manager.
  • Working on a flexible shift pattern, including evenings, weekends, and bank holidays, to ensure compliance coverage.
  • Investigating complaints and inquiries, prioritising serious issues, and taking appropriate action.
  • Providing technical advice and guidance in licensing compliance to various stakeholders.
  • Collaborating with the licensing trade, public, and local authorities to enhance standards.
  • Organising compliance operations across towns and cities, supporting other councils and law enforcement.
  • Preparing legal documents, reports, and evidence for compliance operations and court appearances.
