A rare and newly created opportunity has been created for this multi million pound M&E / Mechanical and Electrical Contractor for an Estimator to work from their West Midlands based offices.
We seek a talented MechanicalEstimator to work on containment installation schemes of mechanical services ranging between 10M-20M.
Candidates highly sought are those with commercial or even industrial mechanicalestimating experience into buildings, although we are happy to consider those from a fit out or construction related estimating background.
Typical contracts may includeoffices, data centres, warehouses, distribution centres and all manner of industrial sheds for manufacture.
You will have direct experience in providingdetailed and completed tenders includinginstallation times and then review projects after completion for quality and accuracy on future projects.
As a MechanicalEstimator, you will produce accurate take offs / measures of tenders and be experienced in using estimating software to ensure that the prime cost of the project is fully understood.
Candidates called for will have experience in vettingsuppliers and subcontract enquiries whilst working with specialist subcontractors and assessingquotations.
You will be a 'finger on the pulse' Estimator and gain up to date knowledge of the market placeregarding the level of pricing, competition and volume of work to ensure that competitive estimates are consistently made.
As a clear communicator and methodical character, you will operate well as part of a team and enjoy rolling your sleeves up.
