The Role

We are recruiting on behalf of a leading MEP contractor for a major project in Wolverhampton. This site-based role requires an experienced QITP Manager to oversee Quality Inspection and Test Plans, ensuring compliance with project specifications, industry standards, and client requirements.

This is an exciting opportunity for a quality-focused professional with experience in MEP, industrial, or heavy engineering projects to play a key role in delivering a high-profile project.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and manage Quality Inspection & Test Plans for the project.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant ISO standards, client specifications, and industry regulations.
  • Conduct site inspections, audits, and surveillance checks to uphold quality standards.
  • Oversee non-conformance reports and implement corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with project teams, subcontractors, and suppliers to maintain quality objectives.
  • Work closely with HSE and engineering teams to integrate quality into project delivery.
  • Maintain comprehensive QA/QC documentation and records.
  • Provide training and support to site teams on quality procedures and best practices.

Requirements

  • Degree or relevant qualification in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in Quality Management, ideally within MEP, industrial, or heavy engineering projects.
  • Strong knowledge of ISO 9001, quality assurance processes, and regulatory requirements.
  • Proven experience managing QA/QC documentation, ITPs, NCRs, and quality audits.
  • Proficiency in quality management software and reporting tools.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
