Quality Engineer - Global Tier 1 Automotive Supplier
Location: Wolverhampton, UK
Salary: £47,000
Hours: 39 per week

Join a global Tier 1 automotive supplier as a Quality Engineer, playing a key role in ensuring high-quality manufacturing standards. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated professional to enhance quality processes and drive continuous improvement.

The Role:

  • Support manufacturing teams to resolve internal and customer quality concerns.
  • Develop and maintain quality documentation and control processes.
  • Ensure compliance with automotive quality standards and customer-specific requirements.
  • Conduct internal audits and support the audit team.
  • Collaborate with NPI teams on Control Plans, PFMEA, and Gauge Planning.
  • Provide training and guidance to Quality Technicians.
  • Travel to UK customer and supplier sites as needed.

What We're Looking For:

  • Experience in an Automotive Tier 1 Supplier Quality Engineering role.
  • Strong understanding of automotive core tools (APQP, PPAP, PFMEA).
  • Knowledge of metal forming and fabrication processes.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Effective communication and customer liaison abilities.
  • Willingness to travel to customer/supplier sites, including potential overnight stays.
  • HNC in Manufacturing or Engineering + Quality Assurance qualification.
  • Full UK driving licence.
