The Role:
- Support manufacturing teams to resolve internal and customer quality concerns.
- Develop and maintain quality documentation and control processes.
- Ensure compliance with automotive quality standards and customer-specific requirements.
- Conduct internal audits and support the audit team.
- Collaborate with NPI teams on Control Plans, PFMEA, and Gauge Planning.
- Provide training and guidance to Quality Technicians.
- Travel to UK customer and supplier sites as needed.
What We're Looking For:
- Experience in an Automotive Tier 1 Supplier Quality Engineering role.
- Strong understanding of automotive core tools (APQP, PPAP, PFMEA).
- Knowledge of metal forming and fabrication processes.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Effective communication and customer liaison abilities.
- Willingness to travel to customer/supplier sites, including potential overnight stays.
- HNC in Manufacturing or Engineering + Quality Assurance qualification.
- Full UK driving licence.
