Due to significant growth a UK leading coatings company is looking for a Quality Engineer to join their team. Supplying their products to the Automotive industry you will work across multiple local sites to provide Quality support to the business. With a salary of £35,000 to £40,000 per annum you will be part of a company that have continued to grow their technology and facilities to offer the best possible service to their customers.
The duties of the Quality Engineer include: -
Dealing with Non-Conformances and using 8D to resolve customer and supplier concerns
Taking part in product and process audits
Supporting the creation of PPAP and APQP documentation when required
Taking part in continuous improvement activities
Assisting with NPI activities
Requirements
Previous Experience in the role of Quality Engineer
Knowledge of ISO 9001 and IATF 16949
Previously worked in the Automotive industry
Experience of 8D and problem-solving techniques in Quality
Proficient in reading and interpreting engineering drawings.
