Job Opportunity: Full-Time Account Administrator

I am seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Account Administrator to join my client in Wolverhampton. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in managing financial records, processing accounts payable, and ensuring accurate financial reporting. This position requires proficiency in accounting software and a solid understanding of financial processes. The ideal candidate will be organised, possess strong analytical skills, and have the ability to work collaboratively within a team.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: £25000 - £27000 (depending on expereince)

Schedule: Monday to Friday

Experience:

  • Accounting: 5 years (required)
  • Administrative experience: 5 years (required)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Produce accounts up to trial balance level.
  • Manage accounts payable processes, including invoice verification, payment processing, and journal entries.
  • Maintain accurate financial records using accounting software.
  • Prepare and reconcile financial statements and reports regularly.
  • Assist with month-end closing procedures and ensure compliance with company policies.
  • Liaise with vendors and internal departments to resolve any discrepancies or issues related to accounts.
  • Support the finance team with various administrative tasks as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in an accounting or administrative role, preferably as an Account Administrator.
  • Strong understanding of accounts payable processes and financial reporting.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record keeping.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, demonstrating strong communication skills.
  • A relevant qualification in finance or accounting is advantageous but not essential.
