Job Title: Purchase Ledger ClerkLocation: WolverhamptonSalary: £12.00 - £13.00 Per hourTemporary, Full time We are seeking a meticulous and experienced Purchase Ledger Clerk to join our our Client in Wolverhampton. The successful candidate will manage all aspects of the purchase ledger, ensuring accurate and timely processing of invoices and payments.Key Responsibilities:
  • Process invoices, reconciling delivery notes to invoices received and purchase orders.
  • Set up new supplier accounts and maintain existing account details within the purchase ledger.
  • Monthly reconciliation of supplier statements.
  • Assist in the preparation of purchase summaries.
  • Process business expense returns.
  • Cashbook and petty cash cheques.
  • Processing BACS payments and preparing cheques.
Key Requirements:
  • Proven experience in a similar role.
  • Strong understanding of purchase ledger systems and processes.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work to deadlines and under pressure.
