Sales Account Manager

£30,000 to £35,000 Basic Salary

Our client a leading enginerring company who is now seeking a Sales Account Manager to support in the development of new partners to ensure the continued expansion of the UK market

The requirement is for an office-based point of contact for existing and new customers developing long term relationships, and generating additional business. Previous experience and a track record of building and delivering relationships is essential.

Key Roles and Responsibilities

  • Manage their own portfolio of accounts, with the intention to grow additional business and revenue for products and services.
  • Managing deliveries to schedules / forecasts
  • Monitoring schedule adherence (is the customer under / overconsuming compared to their forecast)
  • Stock control
  • Sourcing material
  • Negotiating with suppliers
  • Managing outside processing
  • Maintain opportunity pipeline, ensure it is up to date, chase all open opportunities, and organise CRM system accordingly.
  • Retain, and develop existing customers
  • Software training of managed accounts to promote user engagement, and ensure clients are getting the best out of the solutions supplied.
  • Actively develop customer relationships and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Future development within the role will be to identify new business opportunities through existing accounts, generate leads and plan meetings.

The ideal candidate will possess the following attributes and experience.

  • 2-3 Years B2B sales support /account management background.
  • Adaptability in your communication with various industry accounts and contacts.
  • Enthusiastic and willing to learn new skills and work within a small, fast paced company.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills required.
  • Proficient in Office 365/Excel.
  • Good Understanding of technology.
  • Confident communicator both internally with the team and externally with your managed accounts.
  • Proactive, organized, great time and work-load management to prioritize tasks and actions.
  • Experience with working within the software industry desirable but not essential.
