My Wolverhampton based Client are looking for a Sales Executive to join their team on a full time and permanent basis.This is a fantastic opportunity for a long term career in a growing industry and client is willing to offer certain amount of training depending on core skills and previous sales experience.
This company is privately owned and offers a high-quality service throughout many industries including Automotive, Building, Domestic appliance, Lighting / Energy and more. Over the years they have built strong links with many global leading producers of stainless steel and aluminium and have a wide range of added value services such as cutting, machining, pressing and assembly to be able to offer a full service to most businesses.
Duties will include:
- Being responsible for developing new business and looking after and growing existing customers.
- Attending exhibitions and supplier days to generate new leads and keep up to date with market movements.
- Working with the sales support team to ensure that customers are monitored and kept up to date with their order progress as material is either held in stock or machined on site.
- Choosing the correct suppliers for customers and individual products, can involve sub contract.
- Set and manage own account procedures.
- Reading drawings and creating detailed quotations and SLA packages.
- Ensuring the customer service experience is second to none.
- Working in a team environment to ensure company and individual targets are met.
- No home working so must be able to report into Wolverhampton office daily unless out on the road.
Key Skills: -
- The successful candidate will have a sales / account management background.
- Must have excellent attention to detail.
- Excellent customer service experience skills
- Must have a minimum of 5 years business to business sales.
- Industry/product knowledge not necessary as can be trained however basic technical understanding will help.
- Proactive and positive nature and enjoy building new business relationships to attain new business.
- Ability to achieve and succeed in a sales environment.
- Problem solving.
- Using Initiative.
In return you will receive a competitive basic salary, plus respectable bonus and commission package. Mon-Thurs 8-5 and Fri 8-1.
