KM Recruitment is seeking a Residential Childcare Assessor/Trainer to work in the West Midlands on a home/field-based arrangement.
The salary for this position ranges from £30,000 to £37,000, with an additional bonus scheme that can add up to £10,000 OTE based on qualifications and experience.
Candidates must hold a recognized Assessor award or a Level 3 teaching qualification, along with a minimum of 3 years of experience in Residential Childcare.
The role involves assessing and supporting learners working towards Level 4 or Level 5 Residential Childcare Apprenticeships and providing assistance with Functional Skills.
Applicants must possess a clean UK driving license, access to their own vehicle, and be flexible with travel requirements.

Hold either a recognised Assessor award: D32/33, A1, CAVA or TAQA OR Teaching qualification at Level 3 or above (PTLLS/AET).
Ideally have experience of delivering Apprenticeships in Residential Childcare, at Level 4 or Level 5.
Must hold strong competency at Deputy Manager level or above, within a Residential Childcare setting.
Must hold a Level 3 in Residential Childcare as a minimum.
Full, clean UK driving licence and access to own vehicle.
Must be flexible with travel.

Duties include:

Assessand support a caseload of learners working towards Residential Childcare Apprenticeships, at Level 4 or Level 5 (depending on competency).
Support learners with Functional Skills Maths and English to Level 2.
Managing your diary efficiently to ensure timely reviews and meetings are conducted.
Conduct online video meetings and training sessions with learners.
Organise and maintain documentation on learners' progress.
Support, advise and motivate learners.
Overcome barriers to learning and adapt delivery to meet learner’s needs.
