Due to expansion, Next Generation are currently recruiting for a CNC Miller to work with a leading global manufacturer who produce machined components supplying predominantly into the energy industries. As the CNC Miller you will be responsible for programming, setting and operating Fanuc controlled machining centres.
The following shifts are available for the CNC Miller:
- Monday to Friday (days)

(Overtime x1.3 rate Monday to Saturday)
x1.5 rate on Sundays

Duties of the CNC Miller:
- Writing and editing programs (G & M codes)
- Setting & Operating machining centres using Fanuc controls
- Carrying out offsets & tool changes
- Altering speeds and feeds
- Running multiple lathes at any one time
- Monitoring cycle times
- Basic machine maintenance
The successful candidate for the CNC Miller position will have the following experience:
- 3 - 5 years’ experience Setting & Operating 4 axis machining centres (Essential)
- 3 - 5 years’ experience programming in Fanuc (Essential)
- Checking for defects & quality issues (Essential)
- Ability to manage cycle times (Essential)
- Excellent attention to detail (Essential)
