Murray Myers is excited to offer an opportunity for a skilled CNC Setter/Operator to join our dynamic manufacturing team. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in producing high-quality components with precision using various machinery, including power presses, CNC lathes, CNC tube benders, surface grinders, and more. This position is ideal for someone with strong engineering expertise who thrives in a hands-on environment and is eager to contribute to a well-established team's success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Set up, operate, and maintain CNC machinery including power presses, CNC lathes, CNC tube benders, surface grinders, etc.
  • Collaborate with a team of 11 to meet production goals, providing engineering and quality support across multiple processes.
  • Assist with the operation of an XYZ LR52 Siemens shop turn lathe and an Amob MDH90 tube bender, with future plans to incorporate a HAAS milling machine.
  • Ensure high-quality production, adhering to tight tolerances and engineering drawings.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
  • Apply a solid understanding of quality control processes to ensure product excellence.
  • Adapt to various tasks, stepping in to assist the team under pressure when needed.

Requirements:

  • Prior experience as a CNC setter/operator, preferably with a range of machinery (e.g., power presses, lathes, tube benders).
  • Familiarity with quality processes and attention to detail.
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, ensuring machining to precise specifications.
  • Strong work ethic, punctuality, and time management skills.
  • Willingness to provide support in both engineering and setting/operating tasks.
  • Knowledge of various control systems is a plus.

Working Hours:

  • Monday Thursday: 8:00 AM 4:30 PM
  • Friday: 8:00 AM 1:30 PM
