Job Title: CNC Waterjet Operator

Working Model / Location: On-Site / Bilston, Wolverhampton

Salary + Benefits: £29,120 (£14 p/h) - Overtime Available

Sector: Metal / Engineering 

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate CNC waterjet cutting machines to cut stainless steel plates and profiles according to blueprints and design specifications.
• Monitor machine operations, troubleshoot issues, and perform routine maintenance to ensure optimal performance.
• Program and set up waterjet machines, including adjusting settings to achieve desired cutting parameters.
• Inspect finished products for accuracy and quality, ensuring they meet company and customer standards.
• Collaborate with the production team to ensure smooth workflow and timely delivery of orders.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all safety regulations and company policies.

About You:

• Experience as a Waterjet Operator, preferably in a manufacturing environment focused on stainless steel or metal products.
• Proficiency in operating CNC-controlled waterjet cutting machines.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to read and interpret technical drawings or blueprints.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent time management skills and ability to meet deadlines.
• Knowledge of safety protocols and commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.
