Our client, an industry leader in Aerospace, is seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Early Careers Officer to join their team. In this role, you will have the opportunity to support our client's Early Careers team in attracting, developing, and retaining the best future talent.

Summary:

  • Start date: February 2025
  • Duration: 12 months
  • Location: Wolverhampton and occasionally Banbury
  • Pay Rate: 20.00 per hour
  • Hours: 37 per week - Monday to Thursday 8-4.45 and Friday 8-12

Key Responsibilities:

  • Innovate and enhance apprentice, graduate, and industrial placement programmes to be best in class.
  • Provide pastoral and welfare support to assigned early careers.
  • Conduct regular review and feedback sessions for emerging talent.
  • Offer guidance to managers and mentors while supporting recruitment and onboarding processes.
  • Co-ordinate outreach and STEM activities across the region.
  • Foster relationships with universities and colleges as a key link between our client and the educational network.
  • Oversee the Digital Apprenticeship Service account and report on apprenticeship levy fund usage.
  • Facilitate work experience programmes and track progress towards apprenticeship opportunities.
  • Collaborate with educational institutions, industry professionals, and employers to create apprenticeship and mentorship opportunities.
  • Organise networking and development events for apprentices and graduates.

Requirements:

  • Expertise in apprenticeship standards, Digital Apprenticeship Service, and training provider collaboration.
  • Proven experience in Early Careers, Emerging Talent, or Learning & Development roles.
  • Passion for nurturing emerging talent and fostering potential.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills and ability to build strong relationships with diverse stakeholders.
  • Creative, flexible, and innovative mindset with excellent communication skills.
  • Proficiency in managing databases, Excel reporting, and leveraging social media platforms.
  • CIPD Level 3 certification desired.
