Electrical Estimator
Red Rock Consultants are currently working with a well-established M&E Building Services contractor, operating for 15 years and based in Wolverhampton.
Due to expansion, they are currently seeking an Electrical Estimator to join their team.
The successful candidate will play a key role in the bidding process, preparing cost estimates for electrical installation projects within the commercial sector. You will work on a diverse range of projects in educational, healthcare, hospitality, and industrial environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Preparing accurate and competitive cost estimates for electrical installation projects
- Analyzing project specifications, drawings, and scope to understand client requirements
- Liaising with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain pricing for materials and services
- Collaborating with project managers, engineers, and other departments to develop comprehensive bids
- Managing multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring deadlines are met
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Previous experience as an Electrical Estimator, preferably within the commercial sector
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems and installation practices
- Familiarity with project types, such as schools, hospitals, and commercial buildings
