Working Hours: 37hrs per week Monday to Thursday 8am - 4.45pm Fri 8am - 12pm

WFH/WFO: Hybrid 3 days per week onsite (after training is completed)

Are you a data-driven, high-achieving Programme Manager looking for an exciting opportunity within the aerospace industry? Our client, based in Wolverhampton, is seeking a talented individual to provide maternity cover for a New Product Introduction (NPI) programme. As the Programme Manager, you will report to the GDS Programme Director and lead the successful development of multi-discipline programmes.

Responsibilities:

  • Directly lead multiple IPDTs of varying complexity across NPI projects.
  • Take accountability for all project outcomes associated with work scope.
  • Ensure the drumbeat of the programme is executed within the required governance structure.
  • Act as the primary customer contact or first line of escalation depending on project magnitude.
  • Manage deployment of customer strategy in line with strategic planning requirements.
  • Capture best practise and learning from experience to improve the business.
  • Undertake Project Reviews, Risk & Opportunity Reviews, and Project Governance on a weekly basis.

  • Customer focus: Understand stakeholder requirements, effectively plan and execute to meet these, and delight customers.
  • Excellent communication skills: Cover all levels of the organisation and satisfy key customers internally and externally.
  • Proven Programme Management experience.

  • Engineering or Manufacturing experience (helpful)
