Dovetail and Slate are working with a leading technical training provider to recruit a skilled Heavy Vehicle Technical Trainer. This is an excellent opportunity to move off the tools and into training, supporting apprentices in developing their technical skills and knowledge.

About the Role:

You'll deliver workshop and classroom training to apprentices on heavy vehicle maintenance programmes. Using your industry knowledge, you'll help learners progress toward their qualifications and End Point Assessment.

Key Duties:
  • Deliver engaging workshop and classroom sessions

  • Support and track learner progress

  • Prepare learners for End Point Assessment

  • Maintain accurate documentation

  • Liaise with employers to align training to industry needs

  • Promote a safe, inclusive learning environment

What You'll Need:
  • Level 3 Heavy Vehicle Maintenance qualification

  • Minimum 5 years of industry experience

  • Teaching qualification (or willingness to gain one)

  • Strong communication and organisational skills

  • Full UK driving licence
