The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating detailed technical drawings and schematics using various CAD software. This role requires a keen eye for detail and the ability to interpret and translate complex designs into clear, accurate representations. The CAD Technician will collaborate with engineers and architects to ensure that all designs meet project specifications and standards.Duties
  • Develop and produce detailed CAD drawings, schematics, and models for various projects.
  • Utilise software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Sketchup, SolidWorks, to create precise designs.
  • Collaborate with project teams to understand design requirements and specifications.
  • Review and revise drawings based on feedback from engineers and architects.
  • Maintain an organised library of CAD files and documentation for easy access by team members.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations in all designs produced.
  • Assist in the preparation of project documentation, including reports and presentations.
Skills
  • Proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Sketchup, SolidWorks is essential.
  • Strong understanding of technical drawings.
