Your new roleYour new role as EYFS will include you planning and preparing everyday lessons and activities in an interactive way for the children. You will also have classroom teaching responsibilities and ensure a safe and secure environment is always kept for the children, encouraging them to learn and make sure the lessons are based on educational frameworks. You will also be communicating with your colleagues as well as the children's parents/carers when necessary.

What you'll need to succeed

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • Experience of teaching in EYFS
  • A thorough knowledge of the EYFS curriculum and the expectations for reception
  • Excellent classroom management and organisational skills
  • A creative and innovative approach to teaching and learning
