This fantastic Junior School based in Wolverhampton is looking for a Teaching Assistant to join them. Receiving a "GOOD" in their last Ofsted report, this school offers a rich, stimulating and rewarding learning environment for all students and staff.This Junior School believes that developing relationships with their children, their families, the community and the wider world, enables them to create a warm, caring, happy ethos, where everyone is welcome. We are looking for someone who is friendly, positive and can build a great rapport with children.Your new roleIn this job, you will be giving 1:1 support to a looked-after child in Year 5 that is working at a below level. You will be supporting the child by helping them with their contractions and keeping them on task. This child hasn't got any behavioural needs. You will be working Tuesday-Friday morning from 8:30am-1pm.What you'll need to succeed

  • You must have a Level 2 Assistant qualification.
  • Must have at least 2 years working in a classroom setting
  • You must have experience supporting children with SEN.
  • Strong understanding of child development and SEN
